Abstract submission for the Young Researchers Contest
The Organisation Committee of Jicable’19 is setting up a Young Researchers Contest to encourage the participation of students and young researchers. Full-time engineering and science university researchers and PhD students are invited to submit abstracts of their research work. The topic of the abstract should fall within one of the programme categories listed on the Topic page of this web site. Students and researchers whose abstracts are selected will be invited to present their papers at a poster session, explain their poster and answer questions at Jicable’19.Prizes will be awarded to the authors of the three best papers.
In order to participate, students must send online an abstract about their work that must be related to the topics of the Conference (see the topic page of this web site). The online link will open soon.
Deadline to submit an abstract is 15th February 2019.
The abstract should be :
- in english language
- adequately detailed
- present a synopsis of the paper emphasing any new ideas, new concept or method
- exposed in 500 words maximum without images. The form will not accept more than 500 words
- with title, author's names, their affilations and emails
We suggested to prepare the abstract as a word document prior to paste it in the available form from the link.
Authors whose papers are accepted will be informed by the end of March 2017. Then, full texts in English should be received no later than 15 April 2019. Selected papers will be presented at the poster session “Young Researchers” of Jicable’19 YRC. Authors of selected papers will be exempt from conference registration fees, they will also receive a grant to help their participation. Papers will be reviewed by a jury during the conference. The authors of the three best Papers / Posters will receive prizes respectively of € 1,500 (First prize), € 1,000 (Second prize) and € 500 (Third prize).
